Gingrich Calls on ‘Delusional’ Kerry to Resign: ‘Dangerous to Our Safety’

Climate change has been very big in the news recently, and in a speech, Secretary of State John Kerry recently said that climate change is one of the biggest dangers the U.S. faces, as big a threat as terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. That comment set off Crossfire host Newt Gingrich, who took to Twitter calling for Kerry’s resignation.

Gingrich was incensed that Kerry would make that comparison, calling him “completely out of touch with reality” and “delusional” if he really thinks those issues are comparable, and said that anyone who cares about national security should demand that Kerry resign.

He said, “A delusional secretary of state is dangerous to our safety.”
