Friday Cable Ratings: CNN Fails to Break 66K in Demo From 5-10PM

On Valentine’s Day Friday night, CNN’s evening slate of shows had a disastrous night, failing to rate above 66K viewers in the key 25-54 demo from 5-10pm ET. The network was in 4th place across the board during those hours with Anderson Cooper 360 and Piers Morgan Live both at 66K in the demo. Erin Burnett OutFront at 7pm drew just 49K in the demo.

There was a marked change at 10pm for CNN, when a rerun of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown had 130K in the demo. Another episode at 11pm did even better with 146K. In total viewers, Anderson Cooper’s 8pm hour was the highest-rated CNN show of the night with 330K.

Tuesday Cable Ratings: MSNBC's Morning Joe Drops Below 100K in Demo

MSNBC’s Morning Joe remained in second place during the 6-9am hours Tuesday, but dropped to 97K viewers in the 25-54 demo. Fox’s Fox & Friends was #1 with 252K in the demo and CNN’s New Day was third with 85K.

In total viewers, Fox & Friends was also #1 with 1.066M, followed by Morning Joe with 327K and New Day with 240K.

Monday Cable Ratings: Fox News #1 in Demo and Total From 7-11PM

After a week of smaller victories in the 25-54 demo by MSNBC, Fox News was back on top Monday in all four of its prime time hours from 7-11pm, in both the demo and total viewers. The O’Reilly Factor was the overall leader with 429K viewers in the demo and 2.706M total viewers, followed by The Kelly File, which had 342K in the demo and 2.211M total viewers.

The Rachel Maddow Show led MSNBC with 262K in the demo and 935K total viewers.

Tuesday Cable Ratings: Chris Hayes #2 in Demo on MSNBC

All In with Chris Hayes was the second highest rated show in the 25-54 demo on MSNBC Tuesday night, with 290K viewers. The Rachel Maddow Show was #1 on the network with 343K. In total viewers, Chris Hayes was #3 on MSNBC with 916K, behind Rachel Maddow with 1.151M and Chris Matthews with 999K.
In his 8pm time slot, Hayes came in second place in both the demo and total viewers, behind Fox’s The O’Reilly Factor, which had 419K viewers in the demo and 3.081M total viewers.
